I read somewhere once that we all have a touch of the O.C.D. in one way or another.
Way back when, I used to work with a guy who was a little freaky deaky about tongs.
He'd start his shift by conducting an inspection of any and all tongs on the premises. Once finished, he would then appropriate the two best pairs from whoever happened to be using them at the time. Turn your back for two seconds and he'd swoop in and swipe 'em.
My thing is stuff all over the floor - I hate it.
One time, Tong Boy swept a whole bunch of bread crumbs onto the floor to bug me and I'll tell you what, it worked because I was on the verge of a full blown bug out episode.
The good thing was he's actually a really nice guy, so he knew better than to pull a stunt like that without having a broom on hand to stop me from going totally ballistic.
Stuff all over the floor one of the reasons I've been M.I.A. the last week and a bit. See, we had to have some wall-plastering and paint-retouching done and it was a colossal mess. There was a whole lot of mopping an scrubbing around here.
Hopefully, now that everything has returned to it's former sparkling glory, I can put up all the photos of the cakey projects we've been busy with lately.
p.s. Happy Thanksgiving to all the Canadian folks who are celebrating this lovely long weekend!
