Suitcase Anniversary : )

I've been on a little bit of a period movie kick lately.

I had to make a whole bunch of purple roses for a pretty white wedding cake this weekend and flower-making time = movie time for me.

I finally got to watch The Duchess (Keira Knightley best so far - really interesting story), Marie Antoinette (apparently, being the Queen isn't all it's cracked up to be) and The Other Boleyn Girl (SO happy not to have been born back then and it's really too bad Henry VIII looked nothing like Eric Bana.)

So many things to distract me from posting this red suitcase cake - a 25th anniversary surprise for a couple that loves to travel : )

  1. Neha, you have got to be kiddin' me... i love period movies! Have you seen Howard's End, A Room With A View and The Remains of the Day? or Gosford Park? I want to see the new Jane Eyre... !

I love Keira Knightley in anything. Even Pride & Prejudice! Though I prefer Colin Firth as Mr.Darcy... ha. Maria Antoinette is so visually sumptuous and amazing. Haven't seen the other Boleyn girl yet.

    PS, cute cake too! ^__^

  2. I wanted to eat every frame of Marie Antoinette! The costumes, the food, the whole thing! I prefer Colin Firth as well, so dreamy : p
